Is FESPA 2017 free to attend?
Yes, if you pre-register before the 7th May 2017 using one of the promotional codes found on adverts and marketing promotions. Visitors who do not pre-register without a code will be charged €40.00 online or €70.00 on the door.

FESPA 2017 is a trade show, presenting business opportunities, networking and sourcing for individuals and companies within the screen, digital and textile printing communities. A must-visit if you are an international or local printer, a designer, print buyer, retailer, interior designer, fashion brand or print professional, FESPA 2017 offers the very latest products, innovations and information from over 700 brands.

Is this event suitable for children?No, FESPA 2017 is a trade event taking place alongside European Sign Expo and Printeriors, therefore during the event there will be live machinery so any persons below the age of 16 will not be permitted.

Can I visit as a student?
All students are welcome – please note you must register for a ticket to attend.

  • Central Entrance - The main entrance to FESPA 2017 
    • The FESPA Press Office, Organisers Office and Sales Office is also located within the Central Entrance
  • East Entrance - Serviced by Dammtor (S11, S21, S31)
  • South Entrance - Serviced by Messehallen (U2)

What is the best way to get to the venue? 

The Hamburg Messe is easily accessible for both local and international visitors:

BY AIR - 80 different airlines operate in and out of the city’s international airport, flying direct to over 115 destinations. Located in the north of the city in Fuhlsbüttel, if you’re accessing the exhibition centre by rail from here, please take the S1 to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof, then proceed on the S21 or S31 for two stops to S Bahnhof Sternschanze and from there it is only a short walk to the Central Entrance for FESPA.

BY ROAD - There are a number of reasonable car hire companies located in Hamburg city centre or within the arrivals terminal at the airport.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT - The Hamburg Messe is well connected with an extensive network of bus links as well as overground (S-Bahn) and underground (U-Bahn) rail lines.

Walking distance stations:

  • Dammtor (For East Entrance) – S11, S21, S31
  • Sternschanze (For Central Entrance) – S11, S21, S31, U3
  • Messehallen (For Central Entrance) – U2
  • Stephanzplatz (For East Entrance) – U1


Dammtor mainline station is located only minutes away from the Central Entrance (best to access FESPA 2017), linking the Hamburg Messe with the mainline rail network Deutsche Bahn as well as the ICE high-speed trains.

Where can I park?
There are several parking facilities located onsite, for visitors travelling by car. The nearest car parks to use are the Parkhaus Mitte/ Central Multi-storey Car park and the Tiefgarage Ost/ Eastern Underground Car Park.

Is there accommodation nearby?

Will the seminars be free?
FESPA will offer visitors free seminars from our education hub, along with the option to attend any one of our focused paid for conference taking place during the exhibition.

Do I need a ticket to attend the seminars? 

No, all seminars are ticketless and space is available on a first come, first served basis. 

Eating and drinking 

With many local restaurants and bars within easy walking distance from the venue. FESPA visitors will have an array of different options to choose from. In addition to this, there are a number of fantastic eateries located within the Hamburg Messe. The following are some of the options available: 

Harbour Light: Located between Halls A1 and A4, you will find a relaxed atmosphere here, ideal for networking lunches. With a varied menu, this establishment can provide typical German food and much more. 

Mercadillo: Offering a wide range of buffet-style cuisine, visitors can find a more relaxed atmosphere here. Located in Hall B6. 

Kiel: Another buffet-style restaurant located on the ground floor of Hall B3, this restaurant has a great view of the exhibition hallway. There is a vast variety of salads, soups, dishes of the day, pasta etc. 

PickUp: Serving as snack-style cafeterias, you can quickly grab a bite on the go as you’re looking around the exhibition halls. Visit Halls A3, A4 and B7 to eat here. 

Cafetiero: Situated in Halls A1 and B5, visitors can order a quick coffee or snack here to refresh!
